I’ve done the 100Mhz hack for several months, but I am getting SCSI write errors (and sometimes read errors). The system will appear to be fine but if you try to copy a large amount of files you can get a write error. Also HDToolbox will occasionally lock up.
I have a Rev 6 060 with heatsink and fan…so I am wondering if this overclock is 100% stable with the cybscsi.device ….

Ok, so I un-did the 100Mhz hack and I was still getting the weird write/read errors, so I guess this is not related to the overclock. Only certain devices would cause errors, others would work, which is very strange. But anyway I found a combination that works…so now the question is, do I go back to the 100MHz hack? I don’t like soldering those tiny jumpers, plus one of the pads is not in good shape.

so If I upgrade to REV 6 and then overclok to 100 MHz, SCSI will be working fine too?
As I read there are two SCSI chips and only FAS16 support overclocking and secon Simbios not. I have first one.

You need REV 6 (71E41J) , about the temperature you need a heat sink and fan. SCSI module works.

I have one MKII 060/50 ver. 5 + SCSI II module. After overclocking SCSI will be working or not?
What version of 060 I need, version 5 is good or? And what about temparature CPU after overcloking?
