Apple IIc Rom v4 Upgrade & Repair.

Defect:

  • The second RAM in the auxiliary memory is faulty.

Replaced parts:

  • Replaced 1 x RAM 4264 (ARD1)

Upgrade:

  • Apple IIc ROM upgraded to the latest version V4 (MON)

    Hi,

    Can you share the MD5 signature or checksum of your v4 ROM ? When you pass a System Diagnostics program is the ROM passed OK ? I am asking this because when I update to ROM v4 with the ROM available in internet computer works fine but software diagnostics doesn’t like the ROM. I don’t know whether a bad Rom has been made public or whether system diagnostic software for the //c is not updated enough to recognise the v4 Rom. Thank you.
