I built mine yesterday after having it in the envelope for over two years... Some details have come up, the transistor is shown in the wrong direction on the white print, flat surface with markings should face towards the closest PCB edge, rounded side inwards. The E,C,B markings are correct but not the silhouette, it will work in the wrong position but it will be more quiet that the original. To not get erratic behavior when address is set to normal and you're using paddle inputs, the POTX and POTY of SID2 needs to be grounded. The early description had wrong pinout of the C64C kernal chip, current one is correct, make sure you're using the latest version from the homepage. Looking forward to trying mine out today. Note that you can have the same kind of SID as well, name of the package is the SID you’re adding, order the 8580 kind means you’re adding a 8580.
